The NYPD Brooklyn-Queens Holy Name Society honored Suffolk County Police Officers Matthew Carrello, Justin Muller, Christopher Yonick and Matthew DeNicola of the 3rd Precinct as “Cops of the Year”, along with Police Officers from NYPD’s 68th Precinct. These Police Officers played a pivotal and heroic role in apprehending an armed kidnapper during an active abduction that occurred in Suffolk County. They pursued the suspect into Brooklyn and coordinated with multiple agencies to successfully save the victim and arrest the suspect. Members of the SCPBA board were proud to attend the NYPD Brooklyn-Queens Communion Breakfast, joining our brothers and sisters in blue, as all of their “Cops of the Year” were honored.
