Remembering the life and legacy of Sergeant Dennis Wallace Reichardt

Today, let us take time to remember the life and legacy of Sergeant Dennis Wallace Reichardt, who passed away on this day in 2018 from post-9/11-related cancer. Sgt. Reichardt served with the Suffolk County Police Department bravely for 29 years, having played a significant part in the post-9/11 Terror Attacks rescue and clean-up efforts. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family today and every day.
